Week of Monday, November 17:

This week we finish collecting the data (penny and stopper) which will help us determine the reproducibility of the balances we will be using in the lab. By Tuesday afternoon we should have determined the reliability of each of the three different types of balances in the lab. This information will be posted as soon as it becomes available, and it should be recorded in your Lab Manual on page 36. We also began the inquiry process related to the questions on page 37 in the Lab Manual. As of Monday afternoon, the Orange section had already collected data in an attempt to answer the first question: "Does mass change when ice melts?". By the end of the week we should begin a discussion on the use of Histograms in presenting and analyzing data.

Remember that there will be a short, single period, term TEST given on Monday, November 24th.
